will be going to rosa parks senior center. we just spent $2 million of federal monies to redo that whole senior center and allow that to be one of the sites that will post the technology advances you are experimenting with today. our own residents at every location of our senior centers are going to enjoy the technology advances that we have as a society. this is why we work in a great city like san francisco. we want everybody connected. we want to make sure the san francisco connected program reaches all of our seniors, all of the people with disabilities. there is no reason why people ocean not be connected up, and therefore -- no reason why people should not be connected up, there for everybody gets to enjoy the fantastic technology that we have. this is what makes a great city. this is why i enjoy working with you and being the mayor of our great san francisco city. thank you, ann. congratulations on your third summit. thank you very much. highway, highway 37, some thick fog and that can be really bad there and petaluma, napa, santa rosa. some of the rain totals -- santa rosa, so far, almost 13.50. average is 7.43. san francisco, now remember this number, 7.92. that's what's going down in the books. 9.9 -- 7.92. i don't know what's going on in san jose, 3.91. everybody's over but you can find double -- almost triple the amounts in san jose. this is from mike who keeps awesome records in san francisco. i believe him 101%. sunday, 1.36. it's the hardest he's seen it rain. five-day total was 4.59. his seasonal total is 9.42. almost an inch and a half more than what's going down in the books. you can see the discrepancies sometimes in areas that are not that far apart. some people -- i think i would lean on the heavier totals. today is a dry monday. thank goodness we have some fog returning. rain returns to the north bay on thursday. this system is not as long as the last three. but it will still give us maybe .25 to maybe 1.50. could be 2 the farther north you go. the system out here is tapping into more warm air. we have a go
. santa rosa over two inches and close to four inches in a 24-hour period. san francisco an inch and a half and an inch and a half for oakland. check out concord. over two inches of course lesser amounts as you head south. san jose is close to an inch. you compare these numbers and add them on to the five-day storm total and check these out. close to 13 inches the last three storms. mount saint helena and san rafael, almost 7 and a half inches and close to five inches in napa. even san francisco and oakland close to four inches of rain. that's what we should see in the month and not just in five days. both locations quite a bit of rainfall and close to three inches in san jose. these past three storms gave us a lot, a lot of rainfall. we have another weak system that will move in here as we head into the midweek time frame. it is getting cool with 49 san rafael and 53 in san francisco. we have 47 in livermore. here is a look at what you can expect. a few clouds and cooler overnight. it will be a dry day tomorrow and then more rain moves in on tuesday night and wednesday. lows ton

, men and women stand at 17% each, rosa lee from north ford, connecticut, independent line. caller: good morning. yeah, i take issue with the way the 7.7 jobless rate is determined, and i agree with mr. newman that it probably is in the upper teens. to an extent. i have a daughter who just got her children all, they're in their teens now and she's been looking for a job over the year. i don't know how she could possibly be factored into the jobless rate when they don't even know she exists or that she's looking for a job. i'm sure there are a lot of people like her. i really think the jobless rate is somewhere up in the 20%. thank you for your time. host: mr. newman? guest: for some people, for some groups, the unemployment rate is in the 20%, particularly for young people. i think it's above 20% for young people. i think maybe we pay a little too much attention to the unemployment rate. everybody is right, that you know 7.7% or 7.9%, that absolutely does not tell us everything we need to know about the economy. people think that this is sort of manipulating by the government, in order t
